This was done on a Mac with macOS Monterey version 12.5.1.
To uninstall TeamViewer on a Mac, follow these steps:
Quit TeamViewer by right-clicking on the TeamViewer icon in the menu bar and selecting "Quit TeamViewer".
Open the Applications folder on your Mac.
Drag the TeamViewer icon to the Trash icon in the Dock.
Right-click on the Trash icon and select "Empty Trash".
If you want to completely remove all traces of TeamViewer from your Mac, you can also delete the TeamViewer configuration files and preferences. To do this, open the Terminal app and enter the following command:

rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/TeamViewer/
This will delete the TeamViewer configuration files and preferences from your Mac.
Note: If you have installed TeamViewer using a package installer, you may need to use a different method to uninstall it. In this case, it is recommended to follow the instructions provided by the installer or consult the TeamViewer documentation for further guidance.
